Green Point Logistics (“GPL”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and your rights over it when you visit gpl.com.eg, request a quote, ask us to track a shipment or contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

1. Information we collect

When you use our quote or contact forms, we may collect:

• Contact details: your name, company name, email address, and phone or WhatsApp number.
• Shipment details: import or export, mode, origin and destination, cargo description, HS code, container type and count or weight and volume, Incoterm, ready date, whether you need customs clearance or trucking, your message, and any files you attach (such as a packing list or commercial invoice).
• Tracking requests: the bill of lading, container or air waybill number you send us, and your name or company if you give it.
• Technical data: standard website log data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.

We do not collect payment card details or other sensitive personal data through this website.

2. How we use your information

We use your information only for legitimate business purposes:

• To answer your quote requests, tracking requests and questions
• To arrange and manage the shipments you ask us to handle
• To manage and develop our business relationship with you
• To improve our website and services

We will not send you marketing messages without your consent.

3. Where your information goes and who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

• Form submissions: quote and contact form submissions, including attached files, go to our internal inquiry system or a form-processing provider that handles them on our behalf, and are used only to respond to you.
• If online sending is not available: when the form cannot send online, the site may open your email app or WhatsApp with your details already filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send there, and your message, including any files you attach, then goes through that email or WhatsApp service under its own privacy terms.
• WhatsApp and email: if you contact us by WhatsApp or email, including tracking requests sent from our track page, your message is handled through those services and their own privacy terms apply.
• Carriers and authorities: to carry out a shipment you ask us to handle, we share the necessary details with shipping lines, airlines, trucking partners, our agents abroad and the Egyptian Customs Authority and other government bodies.
• Group companies: your information may be shared with our affiliate companies in Three Stars Group where needed to answer your request.
• Legal compliance: where required by applicable law or regulation.

4. Cookies and analytics

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not need cookies to work. The fonts on our pages are served from this website itself, so your browser does not contact any third-party font service.

We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate; such tools do not track you across other websites or build advertising profiles. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
